A multi-station cold-heading machine is a mechanical device dedicated to metal processing, which is used to cold-head metal materials through multiple processes, such as head forming, elongation, and cutting. The following is the basic working principle of a multi-station cold heading machine: 1. Processing preparation: First, the operator loads the metal material to be processed onto the feeding device of the cold heading machine and ensures that the material is positioned correctly and stably. 2. Process setting: According to the required output product and process requirements, the operator sets the process and parameters of the multi-station cold heading machine. This includes setting parameters such as process flow, material length, cutting length, cold heading force, and feeding speed. 3. Head forming: The multi-station cold heading machine feeds the metal material into the head forming station and extrudes and forms the material through one or more pairs of dies. The die design will cause the material to produce a cold heading effect, and the cold heading force will cause the material to undergo plastic deformation, eventually forming the desired head shape.
